Students that don’t always have experiences designed for them (middle-school). We will provide fun and safe activities

Since middle schoolers often struggle with body image, we want to impress upon them that all bodies are good and part of God’s good creation.

Giving participants the means to express their emotional experiences through the theater arts such as developing vocal range, stage presence, and self-confidence

The What

What is Theatre Workshop and why participate?

CUMC Theatre Workshop (at Christ United Methodist Church) is designed to equip and empower youth with tools to express themselves at an age where everything is called into question. Through the theater arts, participants will be encouraged to grow in how they express themselves both physically and emotionally.

Participants will build, workshop and perform their own theatrical production throughout the camp, and will have the opportunity to learn from professionals in acting, stage make-up, set design and other components that are part of producing a full theatrical experience.
