Senior Pastor

Hi, I'm Andy, pastor at Christ UMC. My wife Katherine, also a pastor, and I moved our family back to Lincoln in 2023 because it truly feels like home. Together, we have three hilarious, energetic kids: elementary-aged boys Theo and Mac, and their little sister, Junie.

When we aren't managing our full family life, Katherine and I love biking and watching Netflix. Personally, I enjoy playing basketball, listening to Audible, and taking road trips. I love ministry and walking with people through life, sharing a faith shaped by hope, mystery, and grace. Let’s grab coffee or lunch sometime!

Program Director

Kim has been a member of Christ United since 1998. Kim began by volunteering at Christ United. In 2008 she was hired as a part-time employee in the Children’s Ministry area. During that time, she was also the Assistant Director of Christ Academy Childcare Center. In 2016 she accepted a full-time position at Christ United as Program Director. Kim’s passion is working with families and helping them grow closer to God.

Music Director

Jaime O’Neill is the Music Director for Christ United. Jaime graduated from James Valley Christian High School in Huron, SD and South Dakota State University with a music education degree. Jaime is currently working on a Master of Music degree in choral conducting at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and hopes to work in the conducting field full-time upon graduation. Jaime has been active in music since he was 5, and he encourages anyone who is interested in serving the church within the music department to reach out. It is never too late to start singing! Jaime enjoys spending time riding his motorcycle (with proper safety gear, of course) and being in the presence of his wife, Sylvia!

Mabel grew up in Mexico, and immigrated to Lincoln after graduating from high school. She has significant experience in the custodial field, including a long tenure with the University of Nebraska Housing Department.  Besides cleaning, Mabel has a passion for cooking wonderful Mexican food.

LGBTQIA+ Outreach Coordinator

Kaitlyn serves as our LGBTQIA+ Outreach Coordinator. Kaitlyn graduated from Wayne State College in May 2025 with her bachelor's degree in Human Services. At WSC, she was awarded the Ron Holt Civic Engagement Award for her advocacy work for the LGBTQIA+ community. Kaitlyn currently serves as the Grand Convener of FaithAllyance; Lincoln's interfaith LGBTQIA+ advocacy group.
